Overview

ONDA is the world's first microwave-based body and face contouring system (Coolwaves®, 2.45GHz). Unlike RF that heats broadly, microwaves selectively target fat cells while a chilled handpiece protects the skin — reducing unwanted fullness while simultaneously firming the overlying skin.

At DERNA, ONDA handles the cases lifting devices alone cannot: heavy lower cheeks, double chin, and body zones like the arms, abdomen, and thighs where fat and laxity coexist.

ONDA — FAQ

ONDA vs InMode?

Both reduce fat and tighten. ONDA's microwaves penetrate deeper fat layers and shine on body zones; InMode's vacuum RF excels at precise facial pockets. Consultation determines the better fit.

How many sessions?

Facial contouring typically needs 1–3 sessions; body zones 3–5 sessions spaced 2–4 weeks apart.

Is there downtime?

None — mild warmth and occasional light redness for a few hours. Normal activity resumes immediately.

When do fat-reduction results show?

The lymphatic system clears disrupted fat over 4–8 weeks; skin tightening appears earlier.
