Ultherapy Prime is the newest generation of the original HIFU lifting device from Merz — the only ultrasound lift cleared by the US FDA. Its defining feature is real-time ultrasound imaging: the doctor sees your skin layers on screen while treating, so every shot lands precisely on the SMAS fascia layer, the same layer tightened in a surgical facelift.
DERNA uses Ultherapy Prime for patients whose laxity sits deep — heavy lower cheeks, softened jawline, loose skin under the chin. Because energy is visualized and placed rather than fired blind, results are stronger and the risk of nerve irritation or fat loss is minimized.
